Guggenheim sets record attendance

The Guggenheim Museum

The Guggenheim Museum in New York City celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. This creatively designed museum by Frank Lloyd Wright is now celebrating the count of people that visited this museum during and after this celebration.

The museum said that within last year 1,164,098 people visit, 22% more than expected.

The museum displaying artwork of Wassily Kandinsky hits their highest record of visitors ever. Between December 27th and January 2nd alone, the museum counted 45,150 people, becoming the busiest time since 1992.

Kandinsky is an abstract artist whose artwork is unexplainable and very creative.
The day that I went to see this exhibit, the museum was packed, the line to buy a ticket was about a 2 hour wait, security was high and the exhibit was very well displayed and enjoyable.
